Chicago’s West Town Neighborhood is bound by the Kennedy Expressway, California (2800W), Grand Ave and Division Street. There are several smaller neighborhoods within the larger West Town umbrella, such as East Village, Noble Square and Ukrainian Village.
West Town is a Near West neighborhood which provides very easy access to downtown and several major Expressways. Public transportation consists of the Blue Line “EL” train and several CTA bus routes. The West Town area includes many Eastern European long-time residents with plenty of new inhabitants. The real estate is a contrast of 100-year old buildings next to brand new condo and townhome developments. West Town’s culinary profile is as vast as any Chicago neighborhood, giving residents a full spectrum of dining options.
